A Day in the Life of a Vet

Vet Matt Dobbs explains how to look after cows to the highest standard on a dairy farm in Hampshire.

When you think of a Farm Vet, chances are you picture them delivering a calf or tending to a sick cow. Whilst these are important parts of their job, Farm Vet gets more involved in managing the overall health and welfare of cows. Working with the dairy farmer, they advise on everything from housing and feeding the cows, to any preventative strategies and treatments. It's all part of the 'herd health plan'. Matt Dobbs tells us more.
